The Workforce Navigator is responsible for assisting eligible adult workers/students to obtain training, industry-recognized certificates and/or academic degrees that best align with their occupational goals. The position will lead students from educational programs to practical experience, help workers identify and access available services, resources and support throughout their tenure in the training program(s), and work predominantly with workers/students interested in several specific occupations within healthcare in rural Louisiana to mitigate social pressures on students and offer support and resources to work toward retention in the programs.
