Presented by:
Carol Reynolds, MD

Carol Reynolds, MD is a physician, trained and board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Reynolds has been professionally obsessed with the development, preservation, and optimization of Community Primary Care throughout her career. Toward that end, she significantly modified her career path after about 5 years in front line Pediatric Primary Care in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Maryland. At that time and over the succeeding several years, she took on leadership roles in primary care offices and practices while simultaneously taking on leadership roles with Maryland’s largest commercial payer.

After gaining significant insight and perspectives from the provider and payer points of view, Dr. Reynolds became the managing partner and President of a large primary care multi-location medical group and led it to multiple clinical and financial successes. In 2008 she led this group to be the first practice in the country to be recognized by NCQA ( National Committee for Quality Assurance), as the first Patient Centered Medical Home group, of which there are now over 10,000 across the country. This recognition process and requirement to focus so completely on patients has revolutionized health care and is the basis of most Value Based Payment models in healthcare today. Dr. Reynolds remains an advisor and member of the NCQA Review and Oversight Committee.

In 2014, Dr. Reynolds led her primary care medical group into LifeBridge Health where it will remain. Preserving and improving primary care remains her passion but she is also passionate about her family and preserving farm land in rural America.
