
Cervical Cancer Series | Screening Guidelines, Best Practices, & Strategies to Improve
Join us for the third session of LPCA’s Cervical Cancer Prevention Learning Series, focused on enhancing clinical understanding of cervical cancer screening protocols and workflows. This session is designed to help health center staff streamline practices, ensure guideline adherence, and improve patient outcomes.
Topics to be covered include:
- U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) screening recommendations: Pap, HPV, and co-testing
- Risk-based screening and follow-up protocols
- EMR optimization for patient reminders, tracking, and workflow efficiency
Subtopics:
- Stratifying patients for targeted outreach
- Documentation best practices and quality reporting (e.g., UDS, HEDIS)
By the end of this session, participants will have practical strategies to implement efficient, guideline-driven screening workflows, improve patient follow-up, and enhance data collection for quality reporting.
This session will enhance understanding of clinical screening protocols and equip teams with data-driven strategies to improve cervical cancer screening rates.
