Who should attend?
This training will have limited attendance. Because of this, we would encourage having one person from your health center participate. These participants should be part of your Social Services Support Team Members (i.e. social workers or case managers) or work in the field of substance use.
Please register the staff person who will be attending below. The registered participant will receive an email leading up to the course containing pre-work materials and access to the Mental health First Aid user portal.
What is expected?
Participants will be required to complete approximately 1 hour of pre-course work. The time together with the trainer will consist of approximately 5 hours.
What will participants receive?
Participants will receive a two-year certification in Mental Health First Aid.
